Starting a weekly blog (?)

Starting this week, I hope to post weekly updates about my research, travels, student life, etc. For example, this week I have spent some of my research time designing this site. Check back in next week to see if I managed to actually accomplish this goal! In the meantime, here are some photos that I couldn't find room to post anywhere else on the site. Broad-tailed Hummingbird (lifer!) from Boulder this year, a Colorado skyscape from my roadtrip with my dad this August, rescuing an octopus in Cherry Grove, SC in December 2015 (photo credit to my dad), more 2016 Grasshopper Sparrow photos from 2016, an Uppie (Upland Sandpiper) from 2016, and a Konza Prairie Skyscape from 2016.
